A inserção do xadrez no campo esportivo e a lógica mercantil da oferta enxadrística em 1972
Resumo
The end of the world-wide championship of chess of 1972, carried out in the context of the Cold War, was spread enough by the world-wide press and it was known how “match of the century”. To substantiate the propositions suggested in this article we kept to the body of information’s condensed in the literatures of the chess, in the journalistic fountains and in the sociological referential systems of Pierre Bourdieu and Norbert Elias Our objective consists in presenting by the light of an approach sociological-historically, some characteristics of the process of insertion of the chess in the sporting field, in order that next we understand some of the mercantile outlines of the offer of this practice inside the above-mentioned field in 1972.
