Author Guidelines

Os artigos completos e artigos simples submetidos para o V SER devem ser elaborados com base nas seguintes diretrizes:

Originalidade: Deve-se tratar de um trabalho original que não foi submetido para outro evento nacional ou internacional.

Idioma: Pode ser escrito em português, espanhol ou inglês.

Formato do arquivo: Deve ser escrito de acordo com o template (Template) e submetido em docx ou pdf.

Quantidade de Páginas: Máximo de quinze (15) páginas para artigos completos, e de no mínimo quatro (4) a no máximo cinco (5) páginas para artigos simples. Nestes limites de página não está incluído o ánexo.

Formatação: Tamanho do papel A4 (21 cm x 29,7 cm), Fonte Arial; Tamanho da fonte 11; Todas as Margens (esquerda, superior, direita e inferior) com 2,5 cm; e Espaçamento entre linhas de 1,5 cm. As páginas deverão ser devidamente numeradas.

Identificação e estrutura: O texto integral do artigo completo e do artigo simples deve conter o Título, Resumo (parágrafo único e espaçamento simples), Palavras-chave, Abstract, Keywords, e respeitando a estrutura especificada no template. No momento da submissão, os nomes dos autores (MÁXIMO DE 4 AUTORES), seus e-mails e as instituições de origem NÃO devem ser incluídos no arquivo dos artigos. Tanto o artigo completo quanto o artigo simples deve conter obrigatoriamente o Anexo com o Script de códigos do R. OBS: O anexo com script do R deve ser incluido em documentos suplementares no sistema de submissão.

Quantidade máxima de autores: QUATRO (4). Não serão permitidas alterações (inclusão, substituição, modificação de ordem) na autoria dos artigos.

Referências: As referências citadas no texto e listadas ao final do artigo deverão estar de acordo com as normas da Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas (ABNT NBR 6023/2002).

Submissão: A submissão do ARTIGO COMPLETO ou do ARTIGO SIMPLES exige primeiramente a realização do cadastro do autor na Revista do Seminário Internacional de Estatística com R seguindo as instruções disponíveis no link: http://periodicos.uff.br/anaisdoser/user/register. 

Avaliação: Todos os trabalhos submetidos para este periódico serão avaliados pela Comissão Científica e poderão ser classificados como “aceitos” ou “não aceitos”.

Publicação: Os trabalhos serão publicados após o parecer favorável de pelo menos dois avaliadores.

Completed research paper and simple research paper submitted to V SER must be prepared based on the following guidelines:

Originality: It must be an original work that has not been submitted to another national or international event.

Language: Can be written in Portuguese, Spanish or English.

File format: It must be written according to the template (Template) and submitted in docx or pdf.

Number of Pages: Maximum of 15 pages for completed research paper, and a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 5 pages for simple research paper.

Formatting: A4 (21 cm x 29.7 cm) paper size, Arial Font; Font size 11; All Margins (left, top, right and bottom) with 2.5 cm; and 1.5 cm line spacing. The pages should be numbered accordingly.

Identification and structure: The full text of the completed research paper or simple research paper must contain the title, Resumo (single paragraph and single space), Palavras-chave, Abstract, Keywords, respecting the structure specified in the template. At the time of submission, the authors' names (MAXIMUM OF 4 AUTHORS), their e-mails and institutions must NOT be included in the file of the papers. Both the completed research paper and simple research paper must contain the Annex with the R code script.

Maximum number of authors: FOUR (4). Changes will not be allowed (inclusion, substitution, modification of order) in the authorship of the articles.

References: References cited in the text and listed at the end of the article must be in accordance with the standards of the Brazilian Association of Technical Standards (ABNT NBR 6023/2002).

Submission: The submission of the COMPLETED RESEARCH PAPER and SIMPLE RESEARCH PAPER requires firstly the registration of the author in the journal of the Seminário Internacional de Estatística com R following this link: http://periodicos.uff.br/anaisdoser/user/register. 

Evaluation: All papers and abstracts submitted for this journal will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee and may be classified as "accepted" or "not accepted".

Publication: The works will be published after the favorable opinion of at least two evaluators.
