Mosaico do Lugar Project after 18 years: Research and Reflections

Abstract

In 2020, during the Covid 19 pandemic, the Mosaico do Lugar project - a public art intervention in urban space, was reviewed after 18 years, in two surveys: one, on what remained in the memory of the participants, based on reports gathered on video, systematized under the Collective Subject Discourse methodology; another, about the perception of new neighborhood residents about this mosaic staircase, with the distribution of survey letters. Bakhtin's concept of utterance guided the analysis of the collected speeches to construct reflections on the social values ​​that emerged, revealing aspects of current society.
