The main objective of the interview is to present the Manifesto Crespo collective in a comprehensive way, showing how the collective's productions can be read as works that relate to the interfaces and critical-epistemic potential of Art as an instrument of subversion, renewal and constant reinvention, and that enable the production of diverse narratives and world projects, providing an opportunity for macro and micro-political change, in addition to the great potential for subjectivation related to the interventions produced in the public space, but also, and in a basic way, the production that is carried out based in a community. The focus of interest and convergence of the interview is art practices in public spaces, demonstrating that in these creative and activist gestures, and above all, based on community production, the collective inverts the colonial sense of appropriation practices (which were and are used by hegemonic, eurocentric, eugenicist, cisheteronormative thinking, among others) and reinvents its own forms of reappropriation based on its potential for artistic production.
