Resumo

Este estudo explora estratégias de prospecção e retenção de fornecedores internacionais sob a perspectiva de profissionais brasileiros, visando identificar práticas eficientes e eficazes. Utilizou-se metodologia qualitativa, com entrevistas semiestruturadas, para analisar as experiências de profissionais de comércio exterior. Os resultados destacam a importância de critérios como capacidade produtiva, qualidade e confiança, além de estratégias de relacionamento como visitas presenciais e comunicação transparente. Conclui-se que a gestão eficaz de fornecedores internacionais requer uma abordagem multifacetada, adaptada ao contexto brasileiro e às particularidades de cada setor.
