Dimensionamento de oleodutos terrestres
pressão de projeto e espessura de tubos
Keywords:

The development of a land pipeline project encompasses several stages, from identifying business opportunities to the decommissioning phase of the pipeline. In this process, one of the main tasks is determining the design pressure, essential for calculating and selecting the pipes to be used. The aim of this research was to investigate and structure the procedures for designing the design pressure and thickness of the pipes as an integral part of the conceptual design of a land pipeline. To this end, a methodology was proposed and tested, structured through the detailing of its stages, and process flowcharts showing their sequences and interdependencies. The results indicated the effectiveness of the proposed procedures as an aid tool for designers.
