Sports and Leisure Projects in the State Schools of Paraná and the International Parameters of Quality

Abstract

The article aims to present an overview about the offer of sport projects in school  in the state of Paraná, especially linked to the macrofield sport and leisure. The research is characterized by a quantitative focus, having as methodological procedure the documentary research through the mec/INEP database on Paraná schools, DataEscolaBrasil. The data were analyzed using the principle of descriptive statistics using the SPSS 20.0 software. The results point to: a) the preponderance of the Sport and Leisure macrofield over the other macrofields of possible activities according to state guidelines, either in number of projects or in number of enrollments; b) the centralization of actions in schools in urban areas of small cities; c) the hegemony of the collective sports modalities futsal and volleyball among the projects developed. We conclude that the alignment with international quality parameters can enable the potentiation of actions linked to the constitutional principle of the right to quality education in order to overcome the challenges that arise in the educational daily life.
