Abstract

The following interview was conducted in November 2025, originally conceived as an integral part of the ethnographic research developed in the author's master's thesis, which deals with Torcida Fogoró. In the selected excerpts, Herica Amaral shares her journey within the Botafogo fan community, detailing personal paths, collective dynamics, and her rise to the presidency of the group, becoming the first woman president of an organized fan group of Botafogo de Futebol e Regatas.
