Uma análise sobre o caso 'Grafite x Desábato' à luz do 'racismo à brasileira'

Abstract

In 14th of April 2006, the Argentinian soccer player Desábato, would have offended the Brazilian player Grafite saying 'Shet Negro, stuck the banana in your ass'. Desábato was approached and detained under the accusation of slander and racism. This fact was analysed under the prospective of the 'Brazilian racism'. It has been discussed as well as its repercution. We have exposed the literature with the opinion of social actors. Their opinion, despite the atitude taken by the authorities, shows how racism is repudiated in Brazil. Because of that, it could be inferred that 'social democracy' in Brazil is not only, uthopic, but also, real Brazil is a nation which does not accept social prejudice. In the view of the symbolic meanings of culture the metaphor of 'Brazilian racism'.
