Abstract
The main purpose of this research is to know and characterize the physical activities of sport nature practised by the pre-Roman people living in the Iberian Peninsula (Iberians and Celts). The first part of this research is devoted to its justification, basis and contextualization. Then the historical sources used are defined. Later, the results obtained in the research are presented and analysed, what points out that the pre-Roman people living in the Peninsula owned a rich physical culture, which included activities such as the champions’ fight or the sling launching. Finally, the research conclusions are expounded, which are based on its results, and show specific characteristics about these cultures, especially in the fields of religion and nobility.
