A circulação dos sistemas táticos
o exemplo do WM em Inglaterra, Portugal e Moçambique
Abstract
This article aims to interpret the process of circulation of tactical models in the game of football. More concretely, it proposes an introductory analysis to the logic that was behind the dissemination of the WM system between England, where it was created, Portugal and Mozambique. It is our objective to understand how dominant ways of conceiving the athletes’ gestures and movements during a football game were promoted through the networks of international federated football. The degree of diffusion of the tactical schemes, as it will be revealed in the studies presented here, was proximately related to the social and historical contexts where they were applied and, more specifically, to the development of the game’s professionalization process.
