A PRECISÃO QUE SÓ TÊM QUEM “JOGA O JOGO”: O CORPO COMO SUBSÍDIO PARA COMPREENSÃO DO CAMPO ESPORTIVO
Abstract
Debating the sports universe in the light of Pierre's Theory throws us into infinite reflective developments, based on the reframing of terms common to this universe, such as game, strategies, rules, disputes. When observing this field up close, one realizes that the sports game largely reproduces the social game. In view of this opening, the present work proposes a reflexive exercise that takes the agents' bodies as a starting point to understand the functioning of the sports field. For this, we present preliminary notions about the theory of fields and how the field is evidenced in bodies. Then, we direct our look to the notion of Illusio and the sense of the game, and at the end, we will describe about the body as a subsidy for understanding the sports field. The work points to three main points to be considered when analyzing the sports field with the body as the main focus: 1) The predisposition to a particular sports practice is closely linked to the relationship one has with the body itself; 2) The body (in the sense of physical capital) in the sports universe is the main tool for positioning and repositioning in this structure; and 3) The body that enters and repositions itself in the structure of the sports field is a body that understood the rules of the game and incorporated them, so its actions are endowed with a sense of play.
