O conceito analítico habitus no estudo de práticas esportivas de mulheres
Abstract
This work has as its scope the reflection on a pillar concept in Pierre Bourdieu's thought that has projection both in the Anthropology of the Body and in the Anthropology of Sport. The concept of habitus is a key to understanding a world inhabited by bodies that internalize a social structure as an operating way of acting and thinking about the world. This concept presents possibilities and limits, which are treated in this article, in the study of body practices of women in sports. In addition to the dialogue with other authors of Anthropology of the body, feminist theorists and research in sports are mobilized for a reading of the Bourdieusian concept from the debates on gender and the criticism of the absence of a conception of social change.
