Violência, acusação e masculinidade: uma análise sobre a violência no futebol carioca a partir dos termos de ajustamento de conduta

Abstract

This article presents a debate on violence as a category of accusation. We seek to understand, through qualitative analysis, how fans and supporters are negatively labeled. Throughout the work, two categories of violence perceived in Rio de Janeiro's sports squares are also presented. The different way in which they are presented is treated and the policies adopted to mitigate these different models of violence in football practiced in Rio de Janeiro are considered. The purpose of the article is to show that when we observe violence as a category of accusation, often “control” itself can also reproduce violence.
