Abstract

Odontogenic myxoma, although a benign neoplasm, is aggressive and can recur due to the absence of capsule and loose consistency. The treatment of choice for the most advanced cases is radical, since curettage can result in incomplete removal, thus, bone removal from the affected area is indicated. It is prevalent in the mandible of young adults. The case presented here reports the radical surgical removal of a mandibular myxoma associated with reconstruction with an immediate 3D prototype titanium prosthesis with a single-step installation.
