The objective of experimental research was to evaluate the flexion resistance of a composite polymerized resin by different photopolymerizing devices. 40 bodies of bar -shaped specimen for the Filtek Z100TM (3m) compound resin were made using an ISO 4049/2000 (25mmx2mmx2mm) matrix. For polymerization, four photopolymerizing devices were used: Valo (Ultradent), BluePhase (IVOCLAR), Radii Call (SDI) and Schuster (Schuster) being two polywaves and two monowaves. 40 samples were made, 10 for each photopolymerian device employed in the study. The samples were stored in a humidifying chamber with distilled water at 37 ° C for 7 days. Then the specimens were subjected to the 3 -point flexion test performed on the Universal Testing Machine (EMIC) with a constant speed of 0.5 mm/min. The force was focused on the central region of the specimen and exercised until there was its fracture. The maximum loads obtained were calculated in Megapascal (MPa) and the data were subjected to statistical analysis through Anova and Tukey test, to obtain the following results: Maximum force values to fracture group 1 specimens fracture (radii) 185.69 MPa; Group 2 (Valo) 201.19 MPa; Group 3 (Bluephase) 187.21 and Group 4 (Schuster) 117.52. ANOVA F = 14.711 and Tukey P < 0.001. Based on the results obtained, it was possible to conclude that the type of light-curing device influenced the flexural strength of the composite resin studied and that the highest values of flexural strength were obtained when the composite resin used was light-polymerized by polywave light-curing devices.
