Understanding “New Confucianism”: The Possible Transition from Marxism to Confucianism in Contemporary China

The aim of this paper examine the return of Confucianism in modern China, its re-appropriation as a philosophical doctrine and politics, and the implications of the movement known as 'New Confucianism' will have in changing the system of Chinese government in the near future.
