Myths, Funerary Rituals, and Social Values in Ancient Egypt (1550–1070 BCE)
Abstract
This work proposes to treat about the existence and functionality of myth in Egyptian society. The visualization of attitudes and interrelationships, as well as the presence of dual aspects and the imaginary created around the construction of memory and identity of this civilization, become base so we can delimit some relevant aspects of the study. Contact with the mythology and reality, brings up social specificities of extreme value, so that we are provided counterpoints needed in historical and social construction of the object in question.
