The Group of the Chosen: Relationships of Honor and Shame in the Pauline Community of Corinth

This article aims the light of honor and shame system (Pitt-Rivers) reflect on the 'elected' category in the context of structuring the Pauline project. The 'elected' emerges as a distinct category of allegory 'world' in this sense, is the project that is opposed to Paul: the imperial project. However, we see that the definition presented by Paul 'world', could also incorporate members who despite being within the Corinthian Christian community would be the perspective of Paul shunning their markedly anti-imperialist project
