Abstract

The political tragedy cannot be apart from the humans life. We call political tragedy as the “tragedy of action”, which the philosopher Eduardo Rinesi (2009) describes as the unpredictable, the uncertain outcomes, the permanent conflict that political actors faces in history. The tragical thinking has the conflict as subject and is the center of Machiavelli and Shakespeare’s political thought. This paper aims to discuss the political dimension in Machiavelli and Shake-
speare and analyze the way that both authors see the governants in crisis moments and moments of power maintenance. Both realistic authors see the politcal world logic under [...].
