Abstract

This dissertation seeks to understand the visions and actions of the Council on Foreign Relations towards the policies that came to be termed as the war on terror and its architects, by analyzing their publications such as the reports of the various Task forces and articles published in its magazine, the Foreign Affairs. Founded in 1921, the Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is a United States think tank dedicated to study the U.S. foreign policy.
