THE UN’S FAILURES IN ITS MISSIONS IN HAITI AND LYBIA

This paper seeks to identify the failures of the United Nations (UN) in the processes of policing, pacification and stabilization of the territories of Haiti and Libya, as well as its state institutions, with the aim of proving some inefficiencies of UN actions in ensuring the expected restoration of order in these countries. This entire survey will be done within the years 2010 to 2019. Regarding Haiti, the paper will start addressing the UN’s performance with peacekeeping and stabilization operations until 2019, when the UN was starting a political operation.
