Resumo

This study identifies the perception that black female social entrepreneurs with a college education face invisible processes in the city of Rio de Janeiro in relation to the challenges of entrepreneurship by necessity in the middle of the COVID-19 crisis as well as its effects on their businesses. Within this methodological context, we have performed a qualitative study of 10 entrepreneurs in the initial phase of their businesses who have participated in governmental and private support and training programs. The results indicate that these women are fighting to break down the barriers which make them invisible.
