Carreiras em contexto e agência em tensão

Analisando narrativas de profissionais do turismo não-tradicional sob a perspectiva da sustentabilidade

Resumo

O estudo investiga como a cidade, enquanto contexto, influencia a sustentabilidade das carreiras. Foram realizadas 25 entrevistas com profissionais de turismo em Porto Alegre, uma capital brasileira com enfoque turístico não-tradicional. A análise temática revelou quatro características principais das trajetórias: 1) influência da identidade das cidades; 2) carreiras ao acaso no turismo; 3) agentes de mudanças, com destaque para a influência comportamental; e 4) retorno às origens, que envolve a ressignificação das trajetórias no ingresso ao campo do turismo. Resultados revelam a multiplicidade de contextos que afetam a sustentabilidade das carreiras e limitam a capacidade de agência individual.
