The objective of the study is to examine the impact of occupational calling on performance and job satisfaction, Burnout, on Workholism and the moderating role of religiosity in the relationship between living an occupational calling and burnout. The sample has 241 respondents. The Partial Least Squares Path Modeling (PLS-PM) technique was used. The results indicate that living a calling brings higher levels of performance and job satisfaction, reduces burnout levels, contrary to what is proposed by the WCT, and increases Workaholism. Religiosity moderated the relationship between living an occupational calling and burnout levels, weakening this relationship.
