The purpose of this study was to analyze the perception of Brazilian insurance professionals regarding compressed workweeks from various perspectives and correlate it with sociodemographic and career-related variables. A mixed-method survey, involving questionnaires administered to 240 insurance professionals, was conducted. Statistical and thematic analyses revealed that participants generally agreed on the positive effects of a compressed workweek, with workload intensity identified as the primary obstacle to its adoption. Additionally, some managers expressed a skeptical view regarding its impact on productivity.
