Abstract

This research report exposes stages of the development of a monograph research, starting from the motivations behind the choice of the theme to the methods used in its construction. This research is the result of work that was already being developed with a group of studies that discuss mobility and migration. One of the main incentives of this study is to analyze how the expansion policies of Brazilian higher education increased student mobility within the national territory and how the process of interstate displacement can affect the student's permanence in higher education.
