ASSISTÊNCIA SOCIAL EM DEBATE.

Abstract

This article deals with reflections on social assistance with regard to the LGBTQIA + Population in Street Situation (PSR +). It is a bibliographic research, containing reflections made during the researcher's academic journey around the mentioned spheres. We consider this debate relevant, in view of the little scientific collection found today. It seeks to understand the intrinsic relationship between social assistance policy and the needs of PSR + in contemporary times. As a main result of this writing, we point to the Pop Center as the main instrument of understanding and intervention in the reality of PSR +, due to its protective, instrumental and political capacity.
