Inclusion in the labor market: experiences of a social worker with a disability
Abstract
The study aims to analyze the experience of a social worker with a disability facing inclusion in the labor market. The research is configured as a case study of the experience of one of the authors. The participant's field diary was used as a research instrument. Data analysis was carried out qualitatively and based on an ethnographic bias. Despite the relevant legal achievements, women with disabilities are still excluded from the labor market. Therefore, it is necessary to face the expressions of the social issue experienced by women with disabilities and discussions about disability and gender together with work.
