This interview was conducted remotely on May 23, 2024, and expanded in July 2025. In the conversation, curator Brunno Silva poses questions about Elilson’s creative flow, whose work takes place primarily in the urban space—on streets, sidewalks, stations, and transport. The artist reflects on the interrelations between performance art and urban mobility that guide his research, sharing stories and creative processes of actions and installations. Through the intertwining of urban memory and oral memory, he situates his work as a continuum between action, writing, and orality.
