Da Guerra ao Iraque à Primavera Arabe: mídias digitais e ativismo transnacional

O objetivo desta pesquisa é identificar os principais atores de dois episódios recentes do ativismo transnacional e o papel das mídias digitais para protestos. A partir de uma revisão de literatura serão analisados dois casos emblemáticos: os protestos coordenados de 15 fevereiro de 2003 contra a iminente Guerra ao Iraque e os de 2011 no Egito, no contexto da Primavera Árabe. Serão trabalhadas as seguintes questões nos casos estudados: 1) Quem são os principais ativistas nesses dois contextos?; 2) Por que trata-se de eventos transnacionais? 3) de que forma as mídias digitais são utilizadas?
