Abstract

The goal of this paper is evaluating the correspondence between the Romanesque philologist Gianfranco Contini and the two great Italian writers Carlo Emilio Gadda and Eugenio Montale, highlighting their critical and inventive journeys during the twentieth century’s Italian literary context.
