Abstract

The objective of this article is to analyze some philosophical interpretations dedicated to the pandemic and to think of the Covid-19 pandemic as an increase in the control and discipline of bodies. The pandemic is conceived as an event in the sense of founding social experiences in which it updates capitalist historical times. The theoretical-methodological path wove approximations with the philosophical field to underline referenced notes to think about how the conceptual schemes raise us to read the pandemic social experience. As a result, the text shows how the pandemic event of Covid-19 highlighted the discourse of the nation-state, identifying how digital surveillance operates under the aegis of algorithmic governmentality in the control of bodies.
