ANÁLISE DO DISCURSO DE POSTAGENS EM PERFIL DE JIU-JITSU NO INSTAGRAM: CAMPO E HABITUS

Abstract

 

The virtual speech acts retrieved from Instagram associated to jiu-jitsu followers habitus are scrutinized in the current work. Data set were gathered from Jiulife Instagram fun page corresponding to October 2020 up January 2021. In terms of methodology, central tenet argued by Pierre Bourdieu are taken into account also the framework named computer-mediated discourse analysis (CMDA). As such, it is showed the pervasiveness attributed to body around the messages posted, by means of which factual meanings and symbolic ones are conveyed as a way of instrumentalizing the body such as “flawness ear”, “machine body”, as consequence neutralizing pain. Ultimately, such habitus is naturally inscribed so much through social-biological body of jiu-jitsu followers.
