Abstract

Resumo
A renovação da geografia brasileira teve seu período chave na década de 1978-1988. Seu desenvolvimento foi dificultado devido aos debates centrarem-se no conceito de espaço, com uma com-pleta ausência de uma renovação correspondente do conceito de natureza e da linguagem de representa-ção cartográfica, integrados ao conceito de espaço criado. Palavras-chave: Geografia, renovação, espaço.

Abstract
Brazilian geography renewal had a key period through 1978-1988. Its development has been obstacularized because of the debate centering on the space concept with a complete absence of a corresponding renewal of the concept of nature and cartographycal representation language integrating concept of created space.
