RESIST AND RE-EXIST

The concept of re-existence emerges in the Latin American context and its use has spread mainly in academic discussions, but it is born or inspired in the heart of social struggles. This article analyzes the various interpretations of this concept, the trajectory traveled and discusses its scope. As well as the differences between re-existence and resistance, but they are also placed in dialogue to show their complementarity. It is proposed that re-existence and resistance are processes that accumulate, overlap, incorporate, and renew, giving new meaning to existence and space, and therefore changing the strategies of territorialization, based on the past/tradition, in present struggles/conflicts and in projections/dreams/imaginations.
