Dando continuidade ao nosso projeto de traduzir a grande obra de Alfred Hettner “Die Geographie, ihre Geschichte, ihr Wesen und ihre Methode”, apresentamos nesse número a parte subsequente ao texto “A Essência e as Tarefas da Geografia”, aqui mesmo publicado no vol.13, n°26, 2011, p.136-149. Tradução: Leonardo Arantes.
