Europe-Africa relations. Disclosure. HybridismAbstract
Two travels took place between the years 1550 and 1560, leading two Portuguese aristocrats from India to the East Cost of Africa, now Mozambique: Captain Manuel de Sousa Sepúlveda and priest D. Gonçalo de Oliveira. Jerônimo Corte Real narrated the first travel in Naufrágio do Sepúlveda, published in 1594; Mia Couto narrated the second, in O outro pé da sereia, published in 2006. The two books represent the relations between Africa and Europe.Downloads
