Abstract

On the Lúcio Cardoso's Complete Diary, published in 1961, we can examine the multiples relations among the public and the private areas on the literary discourse. The Diary presents itself as one of the forms of the self discourse approach - where the subject constructs his own subjectivity.

Lúcia Helena Vianna, Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF)

Doutora em Letras pela Universidade de São Paulo, professora aposentada de Literatura Brasileira na UFF e Pesquisadora do CNPq. É autora, entre outros, do livro Cenas de Amor e Morte na Ficção Brasileira, Prêmio Casa de las Américas de 1996. Organizou em co-autoria a antologia Contos de Escritoras Brasileiras (Martins Fontes, 2003).
