THE SUBJECT IN THE NEWSPAPER
Keywords:
enunciation, ethos, style, text, discourse.Abstract
The subject of enunciation, conceived as the construction of discourse, that is, as the meaning effect of individuality, implies a voice, a body, a character and an "ethos". This subject, inferable from texts by means of an analysis which observes the relation of the expression plan with the content plan, can, during the reading process, be incorporated by the observation of homologations of categories of the expression plan with categories of the content plan. This subject, inferred in this study from journalistic texts, emerges from semi-symbolic relations which confirm the importance of the expression plan of texts of such a genre, so that the style of a newspaper can be described.
