Possui graduação em Comunicação Social (Jornalismo), em Filosofia, pela Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro (UFRJ), e em Letras - Português/Italiano, pela Universidade Federal Fluminense (UFF). É Doutora em Literatura Comparada (UFF).
