A INTERDEPENDÊNCIA DAS DINÂMICAS DE SEGURANÇA DOS PAÍSES DA ECOWAS NO COMBATE AO TERRORISMO DO BOKO HARAM

Resumo

Este artigo propõe analisar as alterações nas dinâmicas de segurança dos países da ECOWAS, no oeste africano, resultantes do surgimento e atuação do grupo terrorista Boko Haram na região. À luz da Teoria dos Complexos Regionais dos autores Barry Buzan, Ole Wæver e Jaap de Wilde (1998) será possível demonstrar como as interações securitárias entre os Estados do oeste africano levaram à consolidação de um complexo de segurança, porém deficiente em seu papel de combater ameaças terroristas.
