Abstract

This article’s goal is to highlight and fundament the bases that led to the 1917 Russian Revolution, which altered 20th century’s global relations. By reconstructing the trajectory of soviet socialism, we come upon a series of motives favorable to the fall of czarism in Russia, among which are political, economic and social delays. Aside from that, with the spread of several opposition socialist groups which defended class warfare through demonstrations and general strikes and the aggravation of internal struggles after Russia declared involvement in World War I, the Russian Empire fell.
