ROHINGYAS:
ANALYSIS FROM THE PERSPECTIVE OF CRITICAL AND FEMINIST STUDIES OF INTERNATIONAL SECURITY

Following the Welsh School of Critical Studies and Feminist International Security Studies, the article analyses the 2017 Rohingya refugee crisis. In yet another humanitarian crisis in Myanmar, around 740,000 Rohingya people fled Myanmar to Bangladesh, after a wave of abuse by the military and other ethnic groups. Thus, through an explanatory bibliographic review, this article aims to identify the causes of forced migration of Rohingya people, as well as to analyze the sources of insecurity of people in forced migration situation, proving when the State not only fails in ensuring security but, as well, is the source of threat.
