O USO POLÍTICO DE PESSOAS EM MOVIMENTO NO CONTEXTO DO MITO DAS BELAS DAMAS E GUERREIROS JUSTOS

Situamos a definição do termo refugiado dentro do contexto espaço-temporal que o limita, expondo o etnocentrismo e os traços de hegemonia ocidentais que historicamente permeiam os padrões de proteção e os critérios de elegibilidade do indivíduo a ser protegido. Como parte inerente a esse processo de construção da figura do refugiado e categorização de pessoas a partir de noções políticas restritas e demasiadamente estatais, muitos grupos em movimento são colocados à margem dos mecanismos de proteção internacional, negados a um acesso digno aos direitos humanos e a uma assistência que, de fato, acolha suas necessidades.
