Leadership 4.0 competencies to enhance digital transformation in organizations

Resumo

A Quarta Revolução Industrial (4RI) acelera o ritmo da transformação digital em organizações da economia baseada em conhecimento. Desenvolver uma estratégia de transformação digital que vise repensar o modelo de negócios e os processos organizacionais voltados para entrega de valor centrada numa melhor experiência do cliente, com a mediação de tecnologias digitais, é uma das prioridades do mundo dos negócios. A deficiência em competências de liderança requeridas pela 4RI, com maior ênfase em habilidades cognitivas e interpessoais  e menos em habilidades gerenciais, está entre as principais barreiras que limitam a transformação digital sustentável nas organizações. Neste sentido, este trabalho, a partir de achados na literatura  especializada, mapeia e especifica os conhecimentos, habilidades, e atitudes e valores das competências da Liderança 4.0. Além disso, este trabalho apresenta um estudo de caso que se preocupa em diagnosticar fraquezas relacionadas à dimensão humana no ambiente de trabalho em dois times de uma grande empresa da indústria de software e então apontar recomendações baseadas na especificação das Competências da Liderança 4.0 para mitigar as deficiências encontradas e fortalecer habilidades específicas dos times.
