This study aims to discuss the implementation of a diversity program from the perspective of employees from different areas and positions. The research is qualitative, descriptive, carried out through 15 semi-structured interviews with employees who work in the diversity group. The data showed that the diversity program, when implemented from the bottom up, happens more slowly, highlighting the importance of the diversity policy in the institutionalization of the program. In addition, it appears that in addition to the challenge of engaging the company's top management, there is a difference in performance in the corporate and industrial areas.
