This work presents a comparative analysis of work dynamics in contemporary public, private and social institutions. Methodologically, the narrative interview was used as a data collection technique and, as a method of analyzing the collected data, the analysis of the nuclei of meaning. The research results revealed that organizations that promote few management changes and delegate autonomy to the worker to perform the real work promote more vehemently the well-being of workers. On the other hand, those who demand the execution of the prescription with greater impetus and are prone to sudden changes at the strategic level highlight the suffering.
