Social innovation (SI) has been encouraged by several organizations as it is a mechanism for more efficient solutions to meet social needs, improving the quality of life of people and communities. However, the SI presents difficulties and the management of factors, and the use of management practices can influence the success of the innovation. Through the survey method with 53 social enterprises (SE), using multivariate regression analysis, it was identified that risk management and stakeholder management practices directly impact the performance of SI in SE. Based on these results, an SI management model was built with the objective of supporting social entrepreneurs in choosing and using more efficient tools in the IS process.
