This article aimed to identify the relationship between gender equity policies and practices, barriers, and career advancement of women in a logistics company. We carried out a quantitative, exploratory, and descriptive research, with 311 respondents. The results showed that the higher the perception of the policies and practices adequacy, the lower the perception of social, organizational, and individual barriers; higher social and organizational barriers were associated with a lower perception of career advancement. Therefore, investing in gender equity policies and practices can contribute to reducing gender discrimination in organizations.
